Okay, I only watch this show casually, but I stumbled across this rec next to a rec for a fandom I do participate in, and I went, "Oh, what the hell," because I love me some NPH, so I clicked. and OH MY GOD. I'm in love. I'm using a J2 icon because it's the only icon I have that just... glows with affection.

This has the most fabulously in-character Barney and Robin EVER. Now, admittedly, this is the only HIMYM fic I've ever read, but I've seen enough of the show, and I think I can confidently say that the_spin has their voices down motherfucking PAT.

But seriously though, I have this horrible feeling that this fic is like reading, like, reccea's In Production or chash's Tractorbeam 'verse and then being set up to expect all J2 fics to be that awesome. Now I want MOAR Robin/Barney, but I don't if it's not like this, you know?
