Meh, I'm tired but not sleepy. I'll do a write up about my classes once I've had all of them.
New Macbook is gorgeous and wonderful and I'm using it right now. It's a little weird to think that I own three computers at the moment, since I won't see my mom 'til Easter to give her the white one. I feel technologically greedy.
Still can't seem to finish Deadsville. I'm over 9,500 words now, with just two scenes left to write, and I'm dawdling. I suck.
Also wrote one weird commentfic today HERE. It's Anna/Castiel for
annella's "smoochy-licious making out meme." I'm not happy with it, as it sounds more like Ruby than Anna, and my Castiel voice is awful, but whatever. It's behind the cut.
"It's easy," she says.
He stares at her, a little blankly, a little confused.
"It's the most fundamental part of being human, I think," she adds, smiling a little. "Your little buddy taught me that."
"But we're not human," he feels compelled to point out.
She smiles more fully and pats his cheek. "We're wearing humans," she says. "Warm, soft, needy human bodies. They're social creatures, need to be touched."
"I think this man is beyond needing touched," he points out, glancing down to catalog the various indignities his host has suffered since he climbed inside.
"I think you're wrong," she says, skimming her thumb across his jaw. She takes a step closer and presses herself against him. The body is warm and solid, but it still feels alien and angelic. "And even if your body doesn't need it, mine does."
He shudders a little, but he leans closer, too. "Our Father did not intend this for our kind," he says, but he's already got one hand cupping her chin, mirroring his thumb on her jaw.
"So let's pretend we're people," she suggests, then she pulls his head down and seals her lips over his.
The body kind of takes over for him. He doesn't know to pull her bottom lip in between both of his, to nibble just a little, but the lips do and the teeth do. He wonders if that's how it works for every human, and he decides that it works for him.
That is all.
