Ok... now that I got that out of the way, this really was beautiful in an incredibly heartbreaking way. I love you writing. It's really great. I love how descriptive you are with everything, making us readers feel like we are right there. And most of all I love the way you describe the simpliest things, like this part:
she’s using the hardwired avocado plastic specimen at the front counter of a diner in Corpus Christi.
It's the little things like this that make this fic so fantastic. Great job and thanks for writing!!
