oooh, I really liked your take on the afterlife here. I love how Jess is so matter of fact, and the strange confusion around Dean. The dreaming and the beaches and even the badminton...all lovely :)

Thank you! Honestly, the afterlife stuff really just wrote itself in, all dreamy and undulating, which meant there had to be a beach, y'know? Jess just seems like the kind of person whose afterlife would be that way.
