i love that this is so dry and matter-of-fact: it seems to gel well with Ruby's own personality. you get this feeling like she's been around a helluva while. a totally original perspective for me - i've not read any other stories that deal with Ruby/host, and the aspects of possession, all the well-described details. and a great ending...
