I'm rather unhappy with how Fur Fag turned out, but whatever. I got that bitch done and posted relatively on time. I was reading over it this morning and it's actually not as bad as I thought it was last night, so yay!

About to go fail an exam. I missed it earlier this week due to food poisoning, and now I don't remember anything I studied before.

Still haven't done my project for People Plagues & Pestilence that was due on Wednesday. I think I'm going to have to pull out of the Washington DC trip Anthro Club is taking this weekend to the Smithsonian, simply because I have too much to do this weekend in terms of homework. Blech.

As for SPN 4.20... I was kind of meh about it. I wasn't giving it my full attention, but I thought it was kind of boring. Not without its merits, but overall, I was kind of unimpressed. ♥ Misha though.

Right then. On to exam, then a few hours of working on Big Bang. I'm at 19,370 right now with a scene and a half to write for this draft (having cut three scenes). I wrote over 6000 words last night to finish the J2_everafter thing, so writing is pretty much the last thing I want to do right now.

Exam went surprisingly well, but then again it was an essay exam and those are so subjective. I'm never sure how much detail to go into.

Just booked my hostel bunk in DC for this weekend. I'm so excited! I haven't been to the Natural History museum since middle school! And since I don't drive, I can work my little heart out on homework in the car. However, this means we're leaving Ohio aroung 6:30 pm, so I'll have to finish and submit my Big Bang much sooner. LAAAAME.

Still can't decide on how to do the summary. I'm thinking I'll have that blurb I posted a few days ago, about silence and explosions or whatever, plus a second paragraph that's actually synopsis, i.e., "it started in med school, communication breakdown and inability to admit feelings, loving and being loved not mutually exclusive (yes, that is an Invisible Monsters reference--and dear god, I suddenly want a Sam/Dean AU of that, holy shit), agree to end it when wives and kids get involved, everythingokay 'til somebody admits love, everything goes to shit, happy ending. Also: ANGSTFEST 2009." I.e. WORST SUMMARY EVARRR.

I'm having WAY more trouble writing this fucking summary for Big Bang than I ever had writing the story itself. And that is certainly saying something.

The real story is always in what you don't say, but eventually all that silence fills you up and then something breaks. Maybe everything breaks. Brokeback Mountain with scalpels.

Which, obviously, says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Also, Jesus Christ, how in the fuck did Brock Kelly manage to shove his way into this story? No, seriously. He's Seth Vincennes's leading man.

My air conditioner in my room is SCREAMING. Please, don't let it be the motor going bad. I don't want to have to put in a maintenance request, wait a week, have to clear everything away from the wall where that window is, have maintenance guys tromping through my room whenever they please.

I hate that period of a few days where my legs are stubbly but the hair is still to short to wax again. It's finally gorgeous here and I have to wear jeans. Laaaaame.

I seem to have somehow strained my right elbow area. It's especially the triceps, but it hurts on the ulnar side of the joint, too, so I don't know. It hurts to extend my arm (flexing doesn't hurt at all, of course). This is making typing somewhat difficult.

I'm actually pretty excited about Heroes tonight. I'm totally unspoiled except for ( spoiler! ). Nathan has really grown on me this volume and I don't want him to die... but then again, he almost dies at the end of like every season, so whatever. It's the Heroes way to nearly kill Nathan Petrelli.

Anyway, back to writing. If I didn't have an exam in my 3 o'clock on Wednesday, I would skip the class today (haven't missed yet this quarter). *buckles down*

So last night, when I posted that fic? I didn't even read it before I posted it. I just posted it and ran out the door to go to a club. International Dance Night, dude. I danced with a gay black man, a Mexican dude old enough to be my dad, and the most adorable Indian kid ever, not to mention this pathetically drunk grad student who was actually pretty cute (if he would've stopped breathing his stinky drunk breath on me and trying to talk about hyenas and how hard it is to be a male talking to females or something).

So... this is midterm week. I have two unfinished big fics due this week, but I have to admit that my two exams and a project are more important. So... I'm probably going to fail both BigBang and j2_everafter. SAD FACE.

The Indians just won, so I guess that's a plus. Trevor Crowe played!
